I’ve been through homes of all conditions, so I’m difficult to shock. Remember the idea is not to make the place feel like a museum -in fact, having things “too” orderly presents its own challenges. Life ebbs and flows, so it all comes back to balance. Nevertheless, a thorough study is essential to our work together. There will be no closet skeletons getting in the way of your future from now on!

Location Location Location! You’d be amazed at what your proximity to a Hospital or Cemetery for example can do to the Chi approaching your home, let alone your actual yard. This quite literally sets the scene before it even gets inside so it’s important to know what you’re working with and how to defend yourself from any unwanted energy. Condo’s and apartments are not exempt from this entirely, but it’s likely (though not guaranteed) to be less homework.

It’s all about Chi, the life force energy believed to be inherent in all things. Our spaces are a cultivation of this energy, whether more positive or negative, yin or yang and it’s all about balance. Ideally, we want to store as much positive energy as we can so that the turbulence in life can be met with more grace and ease. This discussion can also bring up obstructive furniture placement or clutter in the hallway. We can feed the house with all the nutrients in the world, but if its arteries are clogged and not allowing things to flow, then it’s time for some TLC.

Think of the Bagua as your home’s Chakras. There are 9 in total and they may not reside in the places you’d like. Feel like your health or wealth has been in the toilet lately? Well, it might not be just a metaphor. Depending on your situation, it’s likely we will spend a majority of our time focusing on this. Let me show you the ropes and soon you’ll be a savant yourself.
